"Gravity and magnetics have not only survived the last downturn in the exploration industry, but the disciplines are stronger than ever!" These prophetic words, written by Ed Biegert and Pat Millegan, can be found in TLE's January 1998 special section on gravity and magnetics (p. 41). Three and a half years later we see that the disciplines are stronger than ever in the exploration industry and that they are stronger than ever in other industries as well.
